Talkshow on the Santri Literacy Jihad to Preserve the Earth: 'Peace Education with an Environmental Santri-based Approach.'

Jakarta, 26 November 2024 – The Istiqlal Library and the Bina Edukasi Parawangsa Foundation held a talk show titled "Santri Literacy Jihad to Preserve the Earth" at the Istiqlal Library. With the theme "Peace Education with an Environmental Santri-based Approach," the event aimed to instill moral and spiritual awareness about the importance of protecting the Earth.

The speakers emphasized the importance of harmony with nature as a form of worship, as well as the application of Islamic values such as trustworthiness (amanah) and excellence (ihsan) in environmental conservation.

Through interactive discussions, participants were invited to understand how Islamic values can be applied in daily life. The event concluded with a declaration of commitment from the santri (students) to become pioneers in environmental preservation, receiving widespread appreciation from the participants.
